Our Story
James Percival’s story isn’t about overnight success — it’s about grit, recovery, and loyalty to the game that shaped him.
Born in the West Midlands, James came through the Worcester Warriors academy before representing England U21 in their 2004 Grand Slam. He fought his way through the Premiership with Northampton, Harlequins and Worcester, earning respect not for flash but for the unseen work that wins matches.
A broken neck in pre-season could have ended everything. Instead, months of rehab and relentless effort became the start of something bigger. That experience shaped his values: success is earned, loyalty matters, honesty lasts, and hard work never lies.
His career took him across England and France, where he led with toughness, humility and respect. Coaches and teammates saw not just a player but a leader.
Today, those same values drive JP Sports Collective. James understands the pressure, injuries, setbacks and grind because he has lived every part of it. Now he uses that experience to guide the next generation and help them grow not only as players but as people.
